U.S. makes preliminary ruling on anti-dumping administrative review of Indian stainless steel bars

Based on preliminary findings of an administrative review of anti-dumping (AD) tariffs, the U.S. Department of Commerce has determined that stainless steel exporters in India sold their products below fair value during the review period from February 1, 2020 to January 31, 2021 to the US market.

However, due to Ambica Steels Limited's timely filing of a withdrawal request, the U.S. Department of Commerce withdrew its review of the company.

The weighted average dumping margin for Laxcon Steels Limited was set at 0.65% and the rate for Venus Wire Industries and its affiliates was zero.

This measure applies from March 4, 2022.
