EU again raises tariffs on stainless steel imports from PT.INDONESIA RUIPU and JINDAL

On March 16, 2020, according to foreign media reports, the European Union will increase tariffs on cold-rolled stainless steel flat products imported from India and Indonesia, and the rate of countervailing duties will be set between 4.3% and 21.4%.

Indonesia's Ruipu faces new tariffs of 21.4 percent, bringing the total rate, including anti-dumping duties, to 30.7 percent.

India's Jindal has a new tariff of 4.3%, bringing the total tariff to 14.3%.

The new tariffs will come into effect on Thursday to cover losses to EU mills such as Asilino and Outokumpu.
