Data from the General Administration of Customs on March 7th showed that from January to February 2022, China exported a total of 8.234 million tons of steel, a year-on-year decrease of 18.8%.
From January to February, China imported 2.207 million tons of steel, a year-on-year decrease of 7.9%.
From January to February, China imported a total of 181.083 million tons of iron ore and concentrates, basically the same as the same period last year.
From January to February, China imported 35.391 million tons of coal and lignite, a year-on-year decrease of 14.0%.
